Synopsis: The heroine, Tsukiko, enrolled to a school that was recently changed from all-boys school to co-ed. Since the area where the school is conveniently rural and the rather exclusive curriculums the school has, up until now the heroine is the only one female who enrolled to the school.
The game narrates three months (of summer) of Tsukiko’s life together with the members of the archery club she joined: The director, Kanakubo Homare (Taurus), the sub-director, Miyazi Ryunosuke (Scorpio) and the “cute kohai”, Kinose Azusa (Sagittarius).
System: PC (Windows 98/Me/2000/XP)
Genre: Romance, school-life
Haha finally finished the second game of Starry Sky series xD *is proud of herself* xD I got a bit overboard with the Starry sky in Autumn game *coughs* especially Hoshizuki-sensei’s route*coughs*….yeah…so I kind of ignored Summer for a long long time xD Anyway, putting Autumn to a side, Starry Sky in Summer had 3 dubbers that I actually adore..ALL OF THEM! But I’m gonna get to that later. xD
(Summer also contained two of the zodiacal signs I, as Pisces, mostly should get along with…Scorpio and Taurus *coughs* xD)
Anyway, as plot Starry Sky in Summer wasn’t that…bad but not that good either. To me it felt that they were trying to re-create the same atmosphere there was in Spring using the same methods (by having 2 main protagonists that always fight in one way or another and a third one with the task to calm them down) and that’s not especially a good thing since that only means honeybee was trying to stay on the safe line even though the reception of Starry Sky in Spring was pretty good. <- or maybe that was the reason to begin with xD
Miyaji Ryunosuke’s Route
Birthdate: November 3
Blood Type: A
School Year: 2
Ryunosuke is the assistant captain of the archery team. He’s usually pretty strict with everyone and at first doesn’t get along with Azusa that well. Miyaji loves sweets. His daily lunch consists of fruit cakes and parfaits. He also tends to blush a lot and get all embarrassed. And also acts like a kind of guardian when Tsukiko is involved. It’s hinted that he had his eyes on her from her very first year. < He was the only one that kept me squealing and “d’awwww”-ing at him throughout all his route so you can already guess who was my favorite guy to go after. xD I wish Miyaji would exist in real life xDD I’d especially love to tease him xD
Birthdate: December 20
Blood Type: AB
School Year: 1
Azusa is dubbed by Fukuyama Jun…..
WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW TO LOVE HIM!?!?! >< *coughs* Azusa is the one Miyaji will often fight with so he’s practically the Yoh From Summer with Miyaji as Kanata. Although Azusa is a newcomer to the archery club, he has met Tsukiko before and inspired her to become better at practicing her bow. He is cocky and confident of himself; while he declares himself as a natural genius, he is in fact insecure of his abilities as he can’t put his heart into anything.
Uhm….his route wasn’t bad. ^^ But wasn’t as good as Miyaji’s from my point of view either. It just seemed dull and predictable once we find out what’s up with Azusa’s self-confidence but still, it surely is more comical in a way than the other 2 routes. ^^

Homare is the captain of the archery club and a 3rd year. He specializes in astrology so he gives advice regarding people’s personalities based on their star signs. He’s sweet and gentle and pretty much makes it obvious that he likes Tsukiko. While he may be gentle to her, if anyone gets on his bad side there’s rage to be unleashed.
The year before, they lost the championship because Homare got really nervous under pressure. This was a big issue for him, but because Tsukiko gave him words of encouragement he kept going on as the archery team captain.
Uhmmm….I mostly played Homare’s route because I wanted to complete the game but he didn’t appeal to me like the other two did. He’s really funny when he gets angry though because he triggers many ridiculous reactions out of the people around him but that’s about it. ^^ A bit like Suzuya but I think I liked Suzuya better xD<- I’m just stating my opinion here. Yours may differ xD
So yeah, overall, I liked Spring a lot more than Summer. ^^ Now I’m playing Autumn and I’m almost finished so expect a review on that too in the next few days ^^
