Since it’s my birthday today, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!
So I thought I should post something different today!
Seriously, there are many, many games out there and sometimes different genres tend to intersect to create something new that more people will enjoy. Dating sims are becoming a popular cross-genre for some of them, mostly RPGs. So here I’m going to list 5 games, from popular picks, that you might have not known were otome games!
Note: This was not a planned post so it might come more as a vent. I apologize beforehand. XD
As you might know, Ntt.Solmare has done a collaboration with Otomate a while ago and released their Shirahana no Ori (白華なの檻) (also known as Hiiro no Kakera 4) under their Shall we Date label. The port included both a paid version Solmare style (every route costs like 4-5$) and a GREE-online version. I just recently downloaded the GREE version despite wanting to constantly kick my phone out the window for the freakin ticket/rations/passports/whatever gameplay. And you know what? The port is horrible.
I know I discovered this late but you have other 3 or so days to participate and give your opinions ! (till 3rd of November) Otomate is asking us which otome game titles we would like them to try and get localized! That means only good news for us ! So go and leave a comment and maybe you’ll be the lucky random winner of some Otomate prizes too! Seems like there are lots of requests for Hakuouki SSL, Diabolik Lovers and Brothers Conflict.
Leave your opinion HERE
PS: I voted for Hakuouki SSL, Brothers Conflict, Wand of Fortune and Snow Bound Land!
What are you waiting for?! Go and vote now! Also! HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO ALL OF YOU!
Hello! First I’d like to introduce myself. I’m Neko and I’m a cat. . . .OKAY FINE! I’m a 21 years old girl, I was born in Romania, but for various reasons I had to move to Italy, and so I’ve been living there for the past 6 years. I speak 3 languages: Romanian, Italian and of course, English, and at the moment I’m doing my best to learn Japanese. Unfortunately, I’m not working just yet, but I’m a student at a social and language studies university in my town. I like anime (well, duh!), music (yes, fangirls, I’m into kpop), movies, gaming, basically you’re typical female otaku geek.
My passion for otome games definitely started from watching too many anime with bishies (especially handsome anime guys, in case you aren’t familiar with the terms). And the other reason would be that I pretty much like reading, so combine that with anime and a Japanese visual novel and you got me hooked, plus you have that feeling of satisfaction when you manage to get a guy (no matter, real or not) to bow at your feet in adoration! BEST FEELING EVER! ❤
