So…As far as I understood, “Dance with Devils” is not an otome game, but an original anime concept coming from Rejet; whoever doesn’t yet know, Rejet is known for the Diabolik Lovers otoge franchise. And that scares me to a certain extent. XD I’m not “against” Diabolik Lovers, I do think it has some reedeming qualities, yet I can’t say I’m a fan of the type of “aggressiviness” (“abuse”) that it involves. I do identify myself with an M, but not to that point. x’D We don’t yet know, however, if Dance with Devils is going to have something in common with Diabolik Lovers’ protagonists, so it’s definitely too early to judge based on assumptions. Also. Anime News Network said to expect a manga of Dance with Devils to be released before the anime. ANN also noted that the manga will tell an original story, different from that of the upcoming anime which is supposed to air in October of this year.

[NEWS] Norn9: Norn + Nonette anime adaption upcoming

Summary: While on a school field trip, child prodigy Sorata Suzuhara wanders off after hearing a mysterious song and blacks out. When he comes to, he finds himself in unfamiliar place, and soon encounters a girl who informs him that he’s currently in turn of the century Japan.
In order to help him get home, Sorata follows her to a ship that she’s waiting for but when it appears it is not a wooden sailing ship, but a round aircraft that flies using technology that is beyond Sorata’s imagination. Even stranger, he discovers that the other 12 passengers – 3 young women and 9 men – are all supposedly espers with special powers, and are on some kind of journey at the behest of a multinational entity only known as The World.”

This and the upcoming year will definitely be good ones for otoge anime adaptions. Norn9: Norn + Nonette is an otome game developed by Otomate and released by Idea Factory for the PSP and later ported to PS Vita. This otoge will also get a release in English this Fall from Aksys Games. PREPARE YOUR PS VITAs!

As an anime, I think there might be potential of being one of the most consistent otome game adaptions looking at the “style” of the game. Definitely be looking forward to it!

[NEWS] Code: Realize ~Sousei no Himegimi~ to become an anime

Voice actor Junichi Suwabe has spread the word that this weekend’s Otomate Party 2015 celebration of female-audience visual novels has revealed plans to produce an anime adaptation of Design Factory & Otomate’s 2014 Code: Realize ~Sousei no Himegimi~, BESIDES it coming to PS Vita in English from Aksys Games as Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~. /GOD BLESS AKSYS/

Summary (VND) : Cardia has a deadly poison residing in her body, and as a result gets called a ‘monster’ by others. One night, she meets a mysterious man calling himself ‘Arsene Lupin’ who leads her to ‘Industrial London’. From there, she meets various people uncovering the truths and the real stories behind the ‘strange people and land’ in attempt to recover her memories and to search for her father who holds the keys to her memories in London.

There’s no release date yet, so it won’t come out anytime soon, BUT let’s look forward to it regardless. The cast also includes voice actors deem of note such as Hirakawa Daisuke, Morikubo Shoutaro (OkitaSoujiOkitaSoujiOkitaSouji-I’ll stop now) and Kaji Yuuki.

[NEWS] “Hakuouki SSL” otome game to be adapted to a live action drama

MDL Summary: The fluttering Sakura. Spring – a season of blessing for new encounters. Chizuru Yukimura knocks on the gates of a private academy, which has always been a boys’ school. However, as of this year, Hakuou Academy opens its gates to co-education and Chizuru is the only female student enrolled. Thus begins her first year.

The release date is set for 24th of September. I really wonder why they decided to adapt the highschool version instead of what Hakuouki is really famous for. Easier and cheaper I guess…? I just know I will laugh at this so much. x’D
